About
Martin Bennett
I have had a close working relationship with the poly industry for over a decade. This decade emersed in the business, has attributed me with a highly specialised but transferrable skills’ set and intimate knowledge of how operations are developed and run.
My first role in the industry was as an International Business Improvement Manager for a global poly manufacturing company. I was required to work throughout Europe, India, China, Malaysia, and Australia building the company’s portfolio and operations. These early years garnered me with cutting-edge experience of how a company reaches clients across the world, forges productive and mutually beneficial business relationships, and upholds professionalism and client satisfaction.
This same company offered me an opportunity to relocate and join their Australasia-based branch in Brisbane. The new and dynamic role was as a Group Logistics Manager. The position provided the necessary challenges and exposure that enhanced my skills set and knowledgebase of this industry.
Subsequent to Brisbane, I relocated to Western Australia as a State Manager. Further I was employed on BHP sites in the Pilbara as a Poly Welding Supervisor.
After leaving the Pilbara, I migrated to Perth and was employed as Operations Manager for a Poly pipe manufacturer where I remained for 6 years working as part of a close and highly efficient team.
My most recent position was as a Logistics Manager for a separate Poly pipe manufacturer based in Perth.
